Winter might be your slowest season—but it’s the smartest time to get your books in order.
While most food vendors are taking a break from festivals and farmers markets, I’m helping them do something even more valuable: turn their downtime into financial confidence.
If your bookkeeping fell behind this year (and you’re not alone), this is your sign to catch up before the spring rush hits.
Here’s what our Cleanup Packages include—and why they’re the easiest way to start next season with clean, audit-ready books.
1. What Is a “Cleanup,” Exactly?
A cleanup is a one-time service where we organize and correct your financial records for the year (or multiple years if you need it).
We:
✅ Categorize transactions properly
✅ Match sales deposits to platforms like Square, Stripe, or Venmo
✅ Reconcile your bank statements
✅ Correct duplicate or missing entries
✅ Prepare clear, IRS-ready reports
When we’re done, your books make sense again.
No guessing. No stress. Just clarity.
2. Why Winter Is the Perfect Time
If you’re a food vendor, you know the cycle: spring and summer are nonstop, and by the time you catch your breath in fall, tax season is already looming.
Winter gives you a break—and that break is your advantage.
💡 Here’s why winter cleanups work best:
You’re not juggling events or travel.
Bank and payout records for the year are complete.
You have time to review reports and ask questions.
The IRS isn’t yet in full audit mode.
By cleaning up now, you’ll start spring with clear books and no backlog.
3. Who Our Cleanup Packages Are For
Our cleanup services are built for small, mobile, and seasonal businesses—especially:
🍴 Food Vendors & Caterers
🛍️ Etsy & Online Sellers
🔧 Trades & Contractors
💻 Solopreneurs & Service Providers
If your average transaction volume is under 200 per month, you’re a perfect fit.
We work entirely in Excel (no expensive software required), so you’ll always understand your books—no accountant translation needed.
4. What’s Included
Each Zero Fluff Books Cleanup Package includes:
📂 Categorization & Reconciliation
We review every transaction and assign it to the right category. Then we reconcile your accounts against bank statements to make sure nothing’s missing or duplicated.
🧾 Profit & Loss Statement
You’ll get a clear summary of income, expenses, and profit for the year—perfect for your tax preparer.
💬 Guidance & Education
Every cleanup includes an optional walkthrough call where I explain your results, point out red flags, and show you how to keep things clean going forward.
🔒 Audit-Ready Documentation
All records are organized in an IRS-friendly structure, based on IRM 4.10.7.3.8 for evidence evaluation.
If you’re ever questioned, your books will tell a complete story.
5. Transparent Pricing
We don’t believe in hidden fees or hourly surprises.
Our flat-rate pricing structure is simple:
Months Cleaned | Transactions/Month | Price |
3 months | up to 100 | $175 |
4–6 months | up to 100 | $350 |
7–9 months | up to 100 | $525 |
10–12 months | up to 100 | $700 |
Additional months or higher transaction volumes can be quoted individually.
Every cleanup includes your Profit & Loss statement and a “next steps” summary.
6. Optional Add-Ons
If you need a little extra help, we also offer:
✅ Audit Support Package: We assemble your receipts, bank statements, and financial summary into an IRS-ready document set (starting at $950 per year).
✅ Monthly Bookkeeping Service: Starting at $125/month, so you never fall behind again.
7. Why Choose Zero Fluff Books
I built Zero Fluff Books after years inside the IRS because I saw the same problem over and over again: small business owners doing their best—but without clear systems.
You don’t need fancy software or CPA jargon. You need clear books, plain English, and someone who’s been on both sides of an audit.
That’s what we deliver.
Winter is your clean-slate season.
If your books are messy, you’re not behind—you’re right on time to fix them.
Let’s make this the year you start your season confident, organized, and audit-ready.
